I regularly give talks about my journeys to schools in the Dublin and wicklow, kildare area.
My talks are are aimed both at Primary and Secondary students. They are aimed to inspire a love of travel ,and respect for nature and wild places, with a key focus on respecting the world around us and what we encounter.
I will show the children Videos and photos of my latest travels along the amazon river telling the story of how myself and my guide saru ( an amazonian native) travelled 500km along the rio negro, in a small motorised boat, to the awe inspiring araca national park. They will hear tales of life in remote amazonian villages, tales of giant spiders and majestic jaguars and how a 3 day long hike brought us to the 400metre high waterfall where forests filled our vista for hundreds of miles in the distance.
I will also touch on my love of ultramarathons which I use as an example of how you can use such a challenge to inspire you to greater goals and achievements
I will show a series of high quality videos and pictures which I have collected along the way
Thank you!
